What Information We Collect
As part of providing Live Scan fingerprinting services, we may collect the following:
Fingerprint images (biometric identifiers)
Personal identifying information (name, date of birth, SS#, address, ID numbers)
Valid unexpired Government-issued identification. Expired identification and paper extension documents are not accepted.
Request for Live Scan Service form (BCIA 8016)
Contact information (phone number)
Purpose of Collection
We collect biometric and personal information solely for:
Submitting fingerprint data to the California Department of Justice.
Processing background checks as required by authorized agencies.
Verifying identity during the Live Scan process.
Maintaining required transaction records for compliance purposes.
We do not sell, lease, trade, or profit from biometric data under any circumstances.
Data Transmission & Security
Biometrics Mobile takes security seriously and implements strict safeguards:
All fingerprint submissions are transmitted securely to the California Department of Justice using approved Live Scan systems.
Our Live Scan device is never connected to public Wi-Fi, shared networks, or unsecured hotspots.
When mobile service is performed, submissions may be completed using a secure private network or after returning to a secure office network.
Devices are protected with encryption, passwords, and restricted access.

We maintain compliance with DOJ and Applicant Processing Services (APS) guidelines:
Copies of the Request for Live Scan Service (BCIA 8016) form are securely stored in a locked cabinet.
Records are retained for up to 12 months, as required by PSP Terms and Conditions.
Fingerprint images are not retained after submission.
Any temporary digital data is securely deleted after submission.
Access & Disclosure
